Please help me welcome today’s guest, Tashia L. Fugate. Her book is fantastic and I have had the pleasure of a sneak peek of Book 2, which is awesome as well and is available for pre-order…
“When you finally have everything, what would you sacrifice to keep it?”
Blurb:
What do you do when the past you remember quickly morphs into a past you wished would stay forgotten? On the surface, Samantha Walker is your average human, working hard to build her future. But there’s more than one fanged skeleton in her closet and they’re about to be released.
When, in the sleepy town of Glenwood, mystery man, Deacon Vasileios, shows up at her feet bleeding from a gunshot wound, her life gets turned upside down. Something about him isn’t human, but the glow of his icy blue eyes holds all the keys to unlock her past.
People she trusted are lying to her as she struggles to understand her twisted memories. Hunters want use her while an alpha wants her to become his. As the fire sparks between Samantha and Deacon, she must make a choice. Is her life in fate’s hands or is she in control? Choices are dangerous things to make.
Excerpt:
Living is sometimes harder than dying. To choose to fight and push through the callings of death rather than succumb to them is a decision that no person can make for someone else. We must want to live. We must fight as hard as we can, not just for ourselves, but for those we love. It is the people that we cherish more than life itself that make it all worth it. Life is hard, and sometimes sacrifices must be made, but we push through and live. It is days like today that break us down. Today, dying feels easier.
Samantha closed her eyes as she tried to catch her breath and clear the blurriness from her vision. The warehouse was so close, but still so far away. Large raindrops fell in slow succession as she lay on her back on the hard floor of the abandoned school. Lightning streaked through the dark, cloudy sky after every heart-pounding crash of thunder rumbled through her chest. She wanted to scream, to cry out and let go of all her frustrations, but to release them would be the first step to letting go, and she could not do that yet. She was doing the right thing; she knew that now.
With another attempt at a deep breath, Samantha brought herself up into a crouched position. Standing was harder now, and her head spun as she tried to balance herself. She pushed back on the bile that threatened to come up from her stomach. It had been how many days since she ate anything? She couldn’t remember. Time over the past few days seemed strange and distant. She let her breath out slowly as she stood using the aged bricks of the old school’s walls for support.
Her favorite pair of black running shoes were soaked and caked in mud and grass. Two drops of black fell into the pooling rainwater. The drops started to spread out like dark red branches of a tree. She was dying, but she wasn’t dead yet. There was still some fight left in her, and she had to keep going.

Please help me welcome today’s guest, Margaret Izard…
Hello Margaret, thank you for joining me today. Please tell us a little about yourself, where are you from? Where do you live now? Family? Pets?
My name is Margaret Izard. I live in Houston, Texas, with my family of adult triplets, my loving husband, two doggies, and a cat. I’m a previous professional dancer in ballet, modern jazz, tap, and other dance forms. I’ve been involved in the arts since I could walk, and I love to tell tall tales about fantastic events. I love any holiday and enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. On most hot Texas days, if I’m not at my laptop, I’m in the pool trying to say cool. I keep busy with not only writing but many hobbies. I enjoy hearing from my readers.
Where did you get the idea for Stone of Lust?
Lust is one of the Stones of Iona, and magic Fae stones are featured in my series.
The idea for the stones came from research for my series, Stones of Iona. In early research, I read about the Stone of Destiny, or the coronation stone, traveling through Scotland and stopping at Dunstaffnage Castle. When I learned about the Stone of Destiny and its rumored birthplace, Iona Island, I asked myself, what if the stone was magic? What if many stones were magic, and what would that mean? As I delved into research on Scotland, I found that many of its beliefs link to its folklore. These rich stories of worlds beyond ours became essential in capturing this country, its people, and its culture and bringing them to life.
Why did you choose this genre (is it something you’ve written in before)?
I love historical paranormal romances. Writing about the two sub-genres of time travel and history came from my vast reading. I had stories inside me that craved to be told. So, I started writing.
Was there anything unusual, any anecdote about this book, the characters, title, process, etc, you’d like to share?
When I first outlined Stone of Lust, it weaved two stories into one, each dependent on the other, as both found a resolution. One element of the story has vexed me for some time, and when my stories do that, I delve into the World Wide Web, searching history. Usually, there’s something that I read that sparks inspiration, and a solution evolves from that.
The day I found the Brooch of Lorne, a highland brooch created by the Lord of Lorne, a MacDougall ancestor, designed to hold stones and one of three rare left today, I nearly jumped from the chair, cheering. This was the answer! (Which I can’t share here without spoiling the book.) I called it a gift from research. Incorporating it into the story resolved a major plot point and opened the door for other places where I could use the relic in other books. It was such a great gift. This isn’t the only book you’ll see, the Brooch of Lorne, so look for it in future books coming soon!
What is the most difficult thing about writing a book?
My books aren’t linear. I like to call it a story with “meat on the bone.” For the Stones of Iona Series, there’s not only a romance story for each book but an underlying story driving the series forward: the hunt for the magic Fae stones. The challenge, which I love, is weaving these stories together to where they merge into one and make sense. Each book is a love story; the series is one long saga of finding lost magic stones.
Fun fact: A second series called Dragons of Tantallon is connected to this one, featuring dragon shapeshifters introduced in Stone of Love, book 1, Stones of Iona.
What was the most difficult thing about this one in particular?
The hardest part of this story was weaving Ainslie’s love story within the kidnapping plotline of her sister-in-law, Brielle, the main character from Stone of Love, and the storyline of the search for a magic Stone of Iona. Three distinct plot threads are dependent yet not. The first challenge was choosing the best places where these stories intersect and overlap. The second challenge was ensuring each plot thread found a resolution by the end of the book. It’s one of my darkest and most challenging books. I hope readers enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Are there any tricks, habits or superstitions you have when creating a story?
Research. When I start outlining a story, I begin with research. When I’m stuck on a story, I dive into research. So many ideas have come from reading about our past and present day. It only takes one spark, and a story develops from there.
Do you have another occupation, other than writer? If so, what is it and do you like it?
I’ve had multiple different careers: professional ballerina, dance teacher, marketing, and sales, but people pick up this one from my bio all the time: Triplet mom. Yes, I have adult triplets, and it’s a job. Everyone asks – two boys and a girl.
Once they hit grade school, I quit my day job and dedicated myself to their upbringing and education. (I tutored them through college). Did I like it? Yes and no. Some days were a blast and others a challenge, but I wouldn’t change it. They are my hellions on earth, and I love them. Every day is an adventure.
After they had completed college, I decided to take back my life and started writing.
Do you collect anything?
Earrings. I love different earrings.
I also collect art. I love Peter Max. Years ago an employer (He had commissioned the artist to do a family portrait) took me to Peter Max’s studios in New York, where I met the artist. I witnessed him work, and came away with a personalized signed poster. It hangs in my game room. I have three lithographs of his work.
What do you want readers to come away with after they read your book?
My romances focus on how people form connections. They explore the notion of fated love and true love. I hope each person comes away from my stories with hope. Hope for themselves and the relationships they form in their own lives.
What actors would you like in the main roles if your book were made into a movie?
The irony of this question is I have a pictorial memory. My leads already have an image I’ve modeled them after.
Stone of Love – Colin MacDougall is Henry Cavill, and Brielle DeVolt is Anne Hathaway Stone of Fear – John MacArthur is Richard Rankin, and Marie is Freya Mavor Stone of Lust – Rannick is Clive Standen and Ainslie is Kristie Mitchell
What genre have you never written that you’d like to write?
Contemporary Romance – I have a few ideas on what I’d like to write next after my two paranormal romance series.
Have you written any other books that are not published?
Yes. Years ago, I wrote short stories, but out of a lack of confidence in my writing, I threw them all out.
What is the toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been the best compliment?
Early on, criticism was hard to handle, even after all my dance training, which had a lot of criticism. But as I worked on my craft, I looked to feedback as a gift. If I didn’t get the response from a reader I wanted, I went back and looked at what I needed to improve to get the message I wanted across. I still do this today.
Best Compliment. There have been many over the years, but my publishing editor’s reaction to my latest submission, Stone of Doubt, book 4 Stones of Iona series, is the most recent. After reading the synopsis, she sent an email complimenting my creativity. An hour later, she emailed again and admitted she had read the epilogue first to find out where the next book, Stone of Faith, Book 6, would go, and then she complimented my creativity again. Her first word was “WOW!” Best compliment – my editor read the end first!
Thanks, Margaret. I enjoyed your interview. Wow, triplets? That must have been interesting. 😊 Please tell us about your book…
Blurb:
She dreams of a Viking warrior with Fae-blue eyes and a God-like body that makes her heart pound like no other. Trying to save her kidnapped sister-in-law, Ainslie follows her back to the Vikings of Scotland, where she faces the very man who has haunted her dreams.
When Jarl, Rannick MacRaghnaill meets the alluring Warrior Woman who helped steal his warship, she dresses in clothing so strange that every curve teases his senses. But is she, as she claims, a woman from the future or an irresistible lying thief?
She’d risk her life to save her sister-in-law. He’d risk his honor to win her heart.
Can both hardened warriors save the realms from the evilest of Fae’s minds combined with the most dangerous of humans?
Excerpt:
Ainslie smoothed her hand over his firm fist, and he relaxed it a little. She understood his warrior’s heart. The desire to control the fierce energy within him that wanted to wage war but still needed to be gentle with his friends and family. The people he loved deeply. Maybe if she explained how she saw the bloodlust, he might understand the balance between the two.
She continued to caress his fist as she whispered, “Bloodlust is something every fighter has, Rannick. Even women.”
He stared at her hand, gently stroking his, and he relaxed a little more.
Her fingers trailed along his knuckles. “Fighting comes in many forms, not just the sword a warrior wields, but a mother’s fight to bring an infant into the world, a husband’s fight to hunt for food for his family, a warrior’s fight to defend his land.”
She opened his fingers and lightly brushed hers along his palm, from his fingertips to his wrist and back. “A child’s fight to survive in a hard world.” She slowly traced the lines in his hand. “Using the bloodlust for the right reasons and causes is the art of being a great warrior.”
Rannick glanced at his hand, then her face. His free hand came to her cheek and caressed it.
He used his thumb to tilt her head till their eyes connected. “Warrior for the children, woman of war. Is yer bloodlust only for the children?”
Ainslie gazed into Rannick’s bright blue eyes and became lost. She spoke before she thought. “Everyone, I fight for everyone. Who does yer bloodlust fight for, Rannick?”
He leaned toward her, and their breaths mingled. “I fight for many things.” He licked his lips and spoke softly. “But tonight, I use it to pursue the woman I love.”

My Amazon Kindle Author account for self-publishing books has been terminated. Forever. Even though I did nothing wrong, I can never publish my books via Amazon again. This was a stunning blow. I’m baffled and annoyed and upset. My books published through publishing houses are still available via Amazon, but not the ones I Indie Published. They took them down immediately upon coming to their decision. And all my reviews are lost as well. Sucks, but what are you going to do?
First they claimed that I ‘published content that is freely available on the web’, which I most definitely did not. I pleaded my case (I had to do it via email because they do not offer phone support for this situation), but they ‘investigated’ and determined my account could not be reinstated. But when they sent the final death knell email about terminating my account, they accused me of ‘using images to which I do not have the rights.’ Again, a false accusation. I asked them to be specific on what portions were free on the web and/or what images violated guidelines but they told me they replied with: ‘As per our policy, we reserve the right to disclose any type of information we consider sensitive data and we’re unable to elaborate further on specific details regarding our terms and conditions.’ Translation: We refuse to tell you what you did wrong, but you are done.
This has actually happened to many authors. Some who make their living from their Kindle sales. Once they decide to terminate you, it’s nearly impossible, if not definitely impossible, to get your account reinstated.
So…my question to authors…has this happened to you or anyone you know? Tell me your stories.
My question to readers (and authors because you are readers too :D) Where do you buy your eBooks? I know that Kindle pretty much has the monopoly on eBooks, but I just wondered if there are many of you out there who purchase your books from other vendors.
Thanks for your time…if you are an author, I pray this never happens to you. It’s hugely disappointing. (I won’t say devastating, because it’s only books, not life or death 😊)
I am very pleased to introduce today’s guest. Lisa DeVore is one of my Wild Rose Press authors. I had the pleasure of working with her on her debut novel, and on a handful of stories since. She’s a sweetheart of a person and a wonderful author. I love her and her stories. 🙂 Her latest is an excellent ghost story/romance. She’s here to tell us all about it, after her interview:
Please tell us a little about yourself, where are you from? Where do you live now? Family? Pets?
My name is Lisa DeVore. I was born and raised in Alliance, Ohio (about 20 miles NE of Canton, Ohio…home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame). I have been married to my best friend for nearly twenty-three years. Our oldest son, Lewie, is twenty-one, and works with his dad doing custom restoration on old hot rods and motorcycles. Our son, Cole, is eighteen and will be graduating in June, and off to college to study computer technology. And our “baby” girl, Jessica, will turn sixteen on my 50th birthday March 27th. She’s all about driving right now. We have three four-legged kids, Smitty & Wess, who are toy fox terriers (and brothers from the same litter) and my mini-pin, Chester.
Where did you get the idea for “Sebastian’s Castle”?
My hometown, Alliance, has its very own castle…Glamorgan Castle. The mansion was built from 1904-1909 and is now home to the Alliance City Schools’ administration. As a student and resident of Alliance, I’ve grown up around the castle, and have shared its beauty and history with my kids. It inspired the castle in my book, from the layout to the breathtaking chandelier. However, I don’t believe Glamorgan Castle has any secret passages. Who knows though? The ghost came naturally…what castle doesn’t have a ghost? Sebastian’s last name was, also, borrowed from William Henry Morgan, owner of the Alliance castle.
For more information on Glamorgan Castle- http://www.alliancecityschools.org/glamorgan-castle-history
Why did you choose this genre (is it something you’ve written in before)?
This is my first “ghost” story, but the suspense genre is not new to me. I have to say, it was fun to write!
Was there anything unusual, any anecdote about this book, the characters, title, process, etc, you’d like to share?
I have toured and visited Glamorgan Castle many, many times since I was a child, and know its history as well as my own, but prior to writing “Sebastian’s Castle” I took two tours. I wanted to feel the rooms, and the history. I wanted to see it as my characters, Brynn and Jax might see it, and imagine them there. Having that template for Brynn’s Mystic, CT castle made it come alive for me, and, I hope, my readers.
What is the most difficult thing about writing a book?
The most difficult thing about writing a book, for me, is time. I haven’t, as yet, experienced writer’s block. My writing takes me on dips and curves that I don’t even see coming. I have really given up on outlines, because my stories always take turns along the way, and I never keep to one. And, I may start off with a hero and he ends up the villain. I just never know!
Are there any tricks, habits or superstitions you have when creating a story?
Music. It inspires me. For each book, I have a theme song I listen to.
What book have you read that you wish you had written?
“Gone With the Wind.”
(Me too!!) Do you have another occupation, other than writer? If so, what is it and do you like it?
My day job is accounting for an electrical distributor. I work part time, and I do like it. My degree is in accounting, so it’s good to be able to use that knowledge. And I work with some great people.
What’s the main thing that you could get rid of in your life that would give you more writing time?
Absolutely, without question, social media.
What’s your favorite book of all time and why? What’s your favorite childhood book?
My favorite book of all time is the Bible. It inspires, calms, and gives hope. It has stood the test of time, and there is always something new to learn from Its pages. My favorite childhood book is “Green Eggs and Ham”. I loved that book! I read it so many times as a child, and to my kids, that I knew it by heart!
If you could spend time with a character from your book, whom would it be? And what would you do during that day? (PG-13 please 🙂
It would be Sebastian Morgan from “Sebastian’s Castle”. How cool would it be to spend a day with a ghost? I am a geek when it comes to history, and I would spend the day annoying him with questions about his life, and what it was like to live in his time.
Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
Last May, I met my favorite singer, Scott Stapp (the front man of Creed, Art of Anarchy). His life experiences are in his music, and have inspired many. He has been criticized, and persecuted in the media, but he stays true to his style of writing, and gives God the glory. He is truly a kind man who loves God, his family, and fans. It was a pleasure meeting him…and he gives an amazing concert!
Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?
Nora Roberts. I don’t believe there’s one book she’s written whose characters didn’t come alive to me. Her stories have so much depth. She is a master at putting her reader in the moment.
What is your favorite…
Movie– The Patriot Music– Rock Place you’ve visited- Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Clearwater, Florida Place you’d like to visit- Salem, Mass. TV show from childhood- The Brady Bunch TV show from adulthood- Once Upon A Time Food– Pizza Sports team– Cleveland Indians!! Which do you prefer: Board games/card games or television? Television
Love the interview, Lisa. I enjoyed learning more about you. Now, please tell us about Sebastian’s Castle…
Blurb:
Being married to a cop is hard, being the widow of one is harder. After Brynn Austin’s husband, Nate, was murdered in an undercover operation, there wasn’t enough evidence to convict the gang leader who killed him. Brynn refuses to let him kill their dream to renovate an old Connecticut castle. But her plan is hampered by a ghost who’s not ready to give up his home.
Contractor Jaxson Maddox signs on to renovate the old castle that’s sat empty for years. He didn’t believe the rumors about the place being haunted. But that was before he met the resident ghost. What Jax didn’t sign on for was trouble in the form of falling for the beautiful widow, dealing with a pesky ghost, and risking his life when a threat from Brynn’s past surfaces. He’ll do whatever it takes to protect her, even if it means becoming a ghost himself.
Excerpt:
Light shone in through the windows, but the space wasn’t any less creepy. Old cobwebs hung from the rafters, and dust particles danced in the sunlight. She hoped there wasn’t a family of raccoons, or worse, living here. Brynn pushed those thoughts
from her mind and kneeled in front of the trunk with the screwdriver. She’d never tried to pick a lock before, but there was a first time for everything.
“If you’re set on nosing around, I would rather you used the key. It’s under that pile of books.”
Brynn jumped to her feet and swung around to face the voice. She gripped tightly to her only weapon, the screwdriver.
There he stood, the same man she saw the other day. “Who are you?” She backed toward the wall, holding the screwdriver in front of her. “You’re trespassing.”
“No, my dear, you’re trespassing. This is my castle. I should be asking you the questions.”
Brynn’s eyes bugged out as she really took a look at him. His image was fading in and out. “No,” she said aloud, “it can’t be.”
“My dear, you don’t look well.”
“You’re a…” She patted her face.
“A what? I’m a what?” His face faded and returned.
Lisa DeVore is a romantic suspense author for The Wild Rose Press. Her active imagination started at an early age in her NE Ohio hometown, complete with its own castle. She’s an avid reader, loves the beach, dolphins, and sunshine! Yes, she’s a misplaced Floridian. Lisa stays busy utilizing her accounting degree, spending time with her husband of 20-plus years, their two sons and daughter, 2 toy fox terriers, and one mini-pin. And she enjoys spending time in the worlds she creates. Lisa made the Amazon best-seller list for her debut novel “Beautiful Music”, and is excited to announce the release of her fourth book, “Sebastian’s Castle”. Contact Links:
I am pleased to host two new releases on my blog today. I’ve read Tequila Dirty, and it’s a fun read. You should definitely check it out. Heart Shifter looks wonderful as well. Read on to learn about both of these stories and please follow the authors on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Charlotte Copper with Heart Shifter, Paranormal romance novella
Hot summer. Cool water. Dark secrets
Fun fact:
I once spent a week sailing in the North Channel – the location for Heart Shifter. It’s absolutely beautiful!
A few favorite lines:
“Oh, this is nothing,” he said with a chuckle. Putting the pie plate down, he leaned forward and rested his elbows on the counter. “Would you like a piece?”
Mickey J. Corrigan with Tequila Dirty, romantic crime comedy novella
Detective Liam Donell is in trouble when he lets Rita Deltone, a hot chick from the sticks, have her say on a Dusky Beach murder case.
Fun fact:
I wrote the first half of the novella as a short story. It ended with Rita Deltone still “trussed up” in the hospital bed, hitting on the man who is interviewing her. I brought the story to my writing group and they laughed out loud while reading it. But it felt incomplete. So I decided to explore what might happen if the detective on the case untied Rita to give her the chance to prove her innocence. That’s how Liam Donell entered the picture. Although he had been there all along, the silent brooding cop on the case. Observing her. Falling for her.
A few favorite lines:
When he said, “How would you like to make ten K in a single night, no strings attached,” you can’t blame me for sinking into a fake leatherette booth while he fetched us a round. Ten thousand dollars? Might as well be a million. What I could do with that kind of dough. I could change my freaking life.
WANT: I suppose it would have to be Tom Brady. I don’t like the Patriots, nor do I care for him, but he IS hot, so… Yeah, I could overcome my dislike and suffer through it. Just once.
WED: Kevin Durant, only because I CANNOT marry a Yankee! I don’t care for basketball at all, and I don’t know much about him, but he is on my home city’s team (I guess he’s still with the Thunder?). Anyway, he wins by default. (Plus, he’s loaded! Not that the others are exactly poverty-stricken)
WASTE: Jeter. He’s a cutie, and he’s a phenomenal ballplayer, but I cannot, in good conscience, entertain any positive thoughts about anyone or anything associated with the New York Yankees. I would, however, ‘want’ him if given the opportunity.
Want: Tom Brady. I adore football and Brady just does it for me. Plus he grew up not too far from where I did. And he is taken with a cute baby.
Wed: Derek Jeter. While I’m not a huge baseball fan, he’s the closest to my age (although I’m older) and I just like looking at him. And he’s starting a publishing venture with Simon and Schuster.
Waste: Kevin Durant. I don’t watch basketball and I really don’t care for it. Plus he’s a little too young. But he’s a good looking man and he’ll find the right woman soon.
Kathy L Wheeler, author of Lies That BindWould a modern woman marry for convenience to protect the identity of her child? Hell yes. Http://kathylwheeler.com
Wed: I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kevin Durant. As I have been seeing him regularly now for four years. (At least 84 days out of the year.) Half of that in person. He’s widely traveled you know. He’s a born nurturer (because he loves his mama so!) He’s an all around generous, down-to-earth sweetheart. He laughs at himself, plays well with others… and I would flourish in his positive aura.
Want: Derek Jeter…nah…I want Kevin Durant too.
Waste: Tom Brady….strikes me as Kevin’s polar opposite.
Want: Zorro, because of all that mystery and danger. And because, in the above-linked scene, he was soooo sexy, it made me wish I was Catherine Zeta Jones! (Or wish that I was Antonio Banderas, she’s pretty hot too ;)) I was going to say I also want him because of how fast he moves, but then I realized that might not be a plus.
Wed: I guess Sir Lancelot so I could live in a castle. With Robin Hood I would have to live in the woods. And Richard Gere as Sir Lancelot, come on…who could resist that? Although since Lancelot was stealing King Arthur’s woman, he might not be faithful. But on the other hand, I would be ‘Wanting’ Zorro, so I guess I wouldn’t exactly be faithful either.
Waste: Robin Hood, although that probably makes me a bad person since he steals from the rich to give to the poor. But if I was married to Sir Lancelot, I would be rich, so he might steal from me. So yeah, I would have to waste him. But if he looked like Russell Crowe, I would definitely do him first.
WANT – Robin Hood. Defender of the downtrodden—and too gorgeous for words. You can haul me off on your horse any day!
WED – Has to be Sir Lancelot. Let’s face it—Guinevere caused him nothing but misery. Lancelot is a tragic character, and he needs the love of a good woman to turn his life around. I’m volunteering!
WASTE– Sorry, Zorro, but you lose. I just can’t be sure what’s behind the mask and cape. The others are a sure thing.
Want:Zorro, of course. I love a hero who can wear a cape with style and the Latin lover accent is a complete turn on. I don’t mind the mustache or the color black, so all in all he’s a ‘stallion’ in my book.
Wed:Robin Hood. He does the right thing, stands for something legit and is faithful to his lady. He’s used to outdoor living and probably knows how to throw a mean BBQ supper, and there’s always a ready supply of ale. He can steal my heart anytime!
Waste: Lancelot. He’s the least romantic one for me. Other than fall for King Arthur’s wife I don’t recall anything memorable about him except for having the guys over and sitting a ’round’ the table (haha). Sorry, but it’s good ‘knight’ and goodbye for him.
Want: Robin Hood. He looks good in tights and he’s good with a bow. That means strong hands and arms. But he has that whole “merry men” thing going on and hanging out with his buds. If the Sheriff of Nottingham came knocking, ol’ Rob would take off to create mischief. But that’s cool. He has a sense of honor and looks out for the poor but I think he’d want to hang with the Merry Men instead of staying home at night.
Wed: Zorro. Oh be still my heart. Sexy, Latin lover who likes to play at being someone else? There’s just something about a man in a mask… His love life would definitely be filled with spicy heat. He has a well-honed sense of duty and honor (are you sensing a theme here? LOL) and I bet he dances a mean tango, which is the dance of love. He might dash off to save someone but he’ll come right home, a rose in his teeth and a look of “I want you” in his eyes.
Waste: Sir Lancelot. Yeah, yeah. Knight of the Round Table, chivalrous and all that, but dude! She was married. So not cool in my book. Especially since her husband was his best friend. I don’t care how gorgeous he looks sitting on a charger, sword in hand, armor all shiny and stuff, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. And even though he sort of tried to redeem himself, it just doesn’t work for me.
Want: Robin Hood! He’s charming, romantic, and a thief with a roguish smile. A short-term adventure with him would be thrilling, but he certainly isn’t marriage material. Plus, I don’t want to live in a forest.
Waste: Sir Lancelot! At one time, I would have loved to marry him, but his affair with Guinevere ruined that dream. Any man, no matter how noble and honorable, if he commits adultery, he’s not the man for me.
Wed: Then there’s the engaging and mysterious Zorro! I want to marry this romantic, well-educated, wealthy and cultured nobleman! To be Mrs. Don Diego by day, all the while knowing his secret. Dressed in black, cape flowing behind him, wielding a sword…what can I say! *Sigh* Did I mention he’s a superb athlete! 🙂

Now we’d like to hear from you….which of these Historical Fantasy Dudes would you Want, Wed, and Waste?
