I am pleased to have Jannine Gallant on my blog today, sharing information about her latest, spectacular series.
Thanks for hosting me on your blog, Alicia! I’m excited to share my latest project, a trilogy I wrote with the intention of self-publishing. This has been a challenging and rewarding experience, from working with my critique partner turned editor, to designing the covers with an author friend who also happens to be a talented cover artist, to the trial and error process of learning to format. After all the work that went into it, not to mention the plotting and writing of the stories, I hope readers will love this series as much as I do!
The idea behind the Secrets of Ravenswood was to tell the stories of three women, friends since childhood, who witnessed a murder as young girls. Sam’s story, We’ll Never Tell, solves the 17 year old murder. Writing Darby’s story was a bit of a departure for me. It adds a ghostly element to an old mystery in She’ll Never Rest. The final book in the trilogy is Juliette’s story. He’ll Never Know has more of a straight contemporary plot with a sinister twist. I hope you’ll enjoy all three books.

For three lifelong friends, will past tragedies haunt their futures—or open the door to love…
Three young girls witness a murder—and make a pact never to tell what they saw. But when the woman’s body is uncovered seventeen years later, the killer’s faith in their promise is shaken. A few deadly reminders may be in order…
Samantha Beaumont knows it’s time to reveal the truth about what happened in the woods all those years ago—until the accidents begin. Fear that the killer will shut them up permanently leads Sam on a quest to protect her friends and expose the murderer’s identity. No one, certainly not the man she spent one memorable night with, will stop her.
Ethan Thorne has no reason to believe Sam is any more interested in a commitment now than when she ran from him five years before. Still, he can’t resist trying one more time… When he realizes her life is in danger, he’ll risk everything for a chance at love.
Darby Kincade is a genealogist—not a ghost hunter. But when she’s hired to research the Nash family tree, her job description blurs. Discovering the identity of the spirit who lingers in the ancestral home promises to be both challenging and fun—despite her client’s skeptical grandson.
Logan Nash doesn’t believe in ghosts, but Darby’s wit and tenacity intrigue him. Though his practical side objects, he’s drawn to both her and the old mystery. As their feelings for each other deepen, and they grow closer to uncovering the truth, someone is determined to keep long dead secrets buried.
Will Darby and Logan find love—or will the past come back to haunt them?
For the sake of his children, Shane Warren is determined to make a fresh start in Ravenswood, high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. But pulling himself out of the dark place his wife’s tragic death left him in isn’t easy—until he meets Juliette Shaw. Her beauty and sparkle give him a reason to believe in second chances.
Juliette is deeply attracted to the man she’s hired to remodel her home. Not only is he gorgeous, he’s genuinely nice. But Juliette has been hurt before, and taking another chance on love isn’t part of her game plan, not when the secret she holds close to her heart cost her one failed marriage.
While Shane and Juliette struggle with trust and vulnerability, a threat neither could have anticipated draws near, jeopardizing any chance at happiness.
A bit more about me…
Write what you know. I’ve taken this advice to heart, creating characters from small towns and plots that unfold in the great outdoors. I grew up in a tiny Northern California town and currently live in beautiful Lake Tahoe with my husband and two daughters. When I’m not busy writing or being a full time mom, I hike or snowshoe in the woods around our home.
Whether I’m writing contemporary, historical, or romantic suspense, I love bringing the beauty of nature to my stories. To find out more about me and my books, visit my website or blog. You can also follow me on Twitter and Facebook.
Congratulations on your new endevor, Jannine! Sounds like a fabulous new series. 🙂

This sounds like a fantastic series, Jannine, and a huge effort! (It took me a solid weekend of work to figure out formatting my first time around. Kept getting weird glitchy things in the e-formats!) I started reading “We’ll Never Tell” and am already hooked just a few pages in. Wishing you much success with the series!

Hi young lady…you already have your second work up for FREE, so when will number three in the Isle of Fangs series be coming out…inquiring minds want to know! LOL Hey, like me with my “Immortal Relations” series, I know you are BUSY – BUSY – BUSY but if you haven’t already joined MARSocial, a Yahoo Group, I’d suggest it…lots of supportive authors on there with no “buzz kill” types I’ve run into (yet). AND you get to talk about your book without getting any nasty notes from monitors on “No Advertising On THEIR Site” MARS WANTS you to talk up your works (other sites won’t allow you to mention your books).
I try to get on there and at least read what is going on and usually have something to add to the conversation. Just a thought for you – best of luck writing!
