Hello and welcome to my version of the game, ‘F*@#’, Marry, Kill. This week we are WWW’ing doctors from TV shows.
Myself and some of my friends are sharing our Want, Wed, and Waste choices from this week’s list:
Jack Shephard from Lost, Dr. House from House, Hawkeye from M*A*S*H

Me (Alicia Dean). Author of DEATH NOTICE – A killer is using her obituary column to forecast his kills.
Want: Jack Shephard. Although he wasn’t as hot as Sawyer, I found him very, very sexy, and I actually wanted him and Kate together. I guess we don’t always get what we want, right?
Wed: Hawkeye, I suppose, although I never could get into MASH. But, I do love a sarcastic, wise cracking soldier/doctor. And, I thought it was pretty cool, the little bit I saw of it, when he and Hotlips sort of had a thing brewing. I like the whole love/hate thing.
Waste: Dr. House. I thought more people liked him than they do, but if I’m not mistaken, we all want to waste him. I couldn’t get into the show, didn’t find him attractive at all, although with his real British accent, he was a lot more do-able.

Jannine Gallant, author of We’ll Never Tell, small town romantic suspense ON SALE now through Friday for only for .99¢!
Want: Dr. Jack Shephard—he’s hot in a guy next door sort of way. Okay, the one I really WANT from Lost is Sawyer. Oh baby! Dr. Jack is just the next best thing.
Wed: Hawkeye—what’s not to love? He was a great guy—sweet, funny, dedicated. Okay, maybe not the most handsome one in the bunch, but I refuse to waste Hawkeye!
Waste: House—the guy’s a jerk. Leaves me cold. Enough said.

M.J. is giving away a free ebook of The Heart Teaches Best to one lucky commenter!
Want: Dr. Jack Shephard, Matthew Fox is a hottie! (But to be honest, I’d rather have Sawyer from Lost ~ he’s got that whole bad boy thing going for him!)
Wed: Hawkeye. He’d just be so much fun to hang with!
Waste: House, he’s just too dark for me. I’m not big on heavy sarcasm. Light sarcasm I can do, but don’t want it edgy.

Diane Burton, author of ONE RED SHOE Wannabe writer rescues wounded spy while risking her heart. Website: www.dianeburton.com
Want & Wed: Dr. Jack Shephard. Hot. Take charge guy, dependable.
Waste: Both House & Hawkeye. House. He is so sarcastic. His dependence on pain killers is understandable, but not his method of getting them. Hawkeye: too little boy cute; practical joker (which isn’t all that bad). I just can’t see wanting or wedding him.

Wed: House. I’m old. He’ll fix me. And we’ll be curmudgeonly together.
Waste: Hawkeye. Had to waste someone and I was more a Col. Potter fan. I know. No accounting for my tastes!
I’m a HUGE Hawkeye fan, and Alan Alda has aged pretty well too–so that’s a wed. I might want House but he has so many problems, forget it. No attraction whatsoever for Shepherd at all, so waste…

Well, Andi, you would have given us a different perspective for sure. 🙂 Thanks for the input!

Funny. This is the most we’ve ever agreed! Sawyer is so incredibly hot and he’s my inspiration for Chad from TRAPPED UNDER ICE. Like that we’re on the same page for a change.

LOL. He was my inspiration for my hero in my novella, Poetic Injustice, and Jannine used him also. It appears we all want him as our hero. And why not?

Alicia, if you wanted to make this harder you should have picked Dr. McDreamy from Grey’s Anatomy in stead of House. (If anyone doesn’t know who McDreamy is, I refer to Dr. Derek Shepherd, played by the adorable Patrick Dempsey.) I love Alan Alda’s Hawkeye, though I’d probably put him in the Want category. And like everyone else who watched Lost, I have a secret yen for bad boy Sawyer. I’m enjoying Josh Holloway’s new show Intelligence, but keep watching for glimpses of that dimple he flashed to such effect on Lost.

I considered Dr. McDreamy, but for one, I’d already used Patrick Dempsey in our Valentines post, for another, it would have been unfair to the other two guys, cause he would have smoked ’em! I try to use three subjects that are fairly evenly matched, but that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes you ladies surprise me.

Oh heck yeah! I second the emotion…er motion for McDreamy. I’d waste all of these for a chance at him! 😆

No offense, but I would waste YOU for a chance at him 😉 As a side note, he was my model for my hero in the Death Notice, Death Offerings series.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, Just Kidding!

😆 Yeah…you just think you could take me. 😉
And hrmmm….I may have to go back and reread those books with McDreamy in mind! 😀

Did we all use Josh Holloway as hero inspiration? Too funny. Ooh, Ally, you should have used George Clooney when he was on ER. Bet no one would have wasted him!

Yes, it seems we did…we have excellent taste! No kidding, who could waste that sexy beast, right? Maybe we should do another WWW of tv docs down the road but make them a bit more appealing, we could use McDreamy and Clooney, but we’d need a third that could possibly hold his own with those two. Hmmm….

Even Dr. Green from ER…he was cute. He even had hair in the movie The Sure Thing.

I can’t believe how much we agreed this week. I, too, loved Sawyer. Anyone see him in Intelligence? Great series.

I tried to watch Intelligence, since my husband stars in it, but I can’t get into it. It’s too sci-fi for me. 😦

Once again I’m reminded how pop-culture UNcool I am. I knew I recognized the guy on Intelligence, but I couldn’t place him. I just looked him up, and saw the photo with the longer hair, and eureka! (So not only am I UNcool, but I’m visually challenged….like the people at the Daily Planet who can’t see Superman in Clark Kent) 🙂 Anyway, as far as WWW, I’m going with the majority on this one. Want Dr. Shepherd, wed Dr. Pierce (Hawkeye) and waste House. My two sons love House. I can see the interest character-wise, but not as a personal relationship. Hawkeye and Hot Lips did have great chemistry, and as a surgeon, he had a good career waiting for him back home so he could support me in the means to which I’m not accustomed. 🙂 Fun one this week, ladies!

Haha, you’re not UNcool, just busy and uninterested perhaps. Thanks for the input, very well thought out!

I don’t know who Dr. Shepard is so I’ll add my own choice to the mix. To wed I’ll throw in Dr. Kildare from the old TV series. I wanted to marry him then. He was so handsome in his starched white doctor’s shirt with the buttons on the side. He had thick sandy blonde hair. Too bad the actor who was Dr. Kildare turned out to be gay.
To want–Hawkeye. A date with him would be a blast. Everything would be different and surprising I imagine. Probably fun later in the day as well.
To waste–House. He’s stoned all the time yet he’s brilliant. I wouldn’t mind spending time talking to him about medical cases. That’s just the nurse in me.
