Want: Gerard Butler – He is is SEXY and hottttt!!!! Whether he’s a Phantom, bada$$, killer, or whatever, he’s a definite WANT.
Wed: Liam Neeson – He would probably be a good husband, and he’s kind of sexy too.
Waste: Norbert Leo Butz – He doesn’t do anything for me, although I’m only going by his pic, I’ve never seen him in Wicked. And…his name is NORBERT Leo BUTZ, come on…

Wed: I suppose Liam Neeson is all right to Wed, but I would rather have Hugh Jackman. Definitely husband material. Loyal and honest, like Jean Valjean. And what a voice! (Have seen the movie 3x)
Waste: Norbert Leo Butz. Indifferent. Don’t know him. (Never saw Wicked)

Want: Gerard Butler. Let’s face it, when this hunky Scot is in shape … who can resist that body! And, I find the fact that he gave up a career as a lawyer for acting to be especially reckless…and sexy!
Wed: Liam Neeson. It must be the mixed Irish blood in me that makes me think he’d make a great husband. I always admired his love and devotion for his late wife, Natasha Richardson. He exudes protectiveness, mixed with just the right amount of steam!
Waste: Norbert Leo Butz. Besides not being able to get past the name, he’s too short. Fortunately, for the theatre going public, his talent is huge. I wish him well, but he’s just not the guy for me!

Want: Gerard Butler/Phantom (Movie) – Gerard has a very sexy take on the Phantom. When he suggests I let my darker side give in, I’m ready to make some music of the night! Phantom is rather mentally unbalanced, so I’d prefer to dabble on the wild side without a commitment.
Wed: Liam Neeson/Jean Valjean (Les Miserables, Movie) – Jaen Valjean is so intrinsically good. He is also known for his super human strength. Liam conveys this strength with authority, and at times a crooked smile which is sexy. What woman wouldn’t want a good strong man rubbing her shoulders, and um, er, other parts every night?
Waste: Norbert Leo Butz/Fiyero in Wicked on Broadway – While adorable, and his powerful tenor hits all my musical sweet spots, there is not a lot of substance to a man who can’t decide between two witches. I’ll pass.

I think Kae was the only rebel in the group. She things it matters that Gerard Butler can’t sing! HA!!! (I am not saying he can’t sing, I haven’t heard him. Those are her words 🙂

I guess in a contest I would win Fieryo. Whom I love anyway. It’s that song~~~As Long As You’re Mine… gives me goosebumps. If we’d said Michael Black for Phantom, then I would have been all over him. Maybe Gerard would have had a chance if he hadn’t sung anything. PS I’ve seen Phantom 7x on stage. The movie, once.

There is no contest!! I’d like to take Gerard for the want and wed, and I’ll waste the other two. That’s how confident I am in Gerry Butler. (I insist he wears the phantom gear around the house. lol) Hope I didn’t break any rules…but hey Gerard is above and beyond in this movie.

Okay, that’s it. I have to see the movie. I will put that on my to do list for the weekend. 🙂 Yeah, I could stand having him around the house in the Phantom gear, just judging from the pic. Sigh….

You won’t regret watching the movie. I own a copy and love it. He’s a sexy phantom and I didn’t mind his singing at all. He did quite well for someone who isn’t normally known for singing. But hey lots of actors are jumping onto that bandwagon. 🙂 Alicia – let me know how much you like the movie.

Wed: Liam Neeson: Uh hellooooooo I have a gorgeous daughter to protect OBVIOUSLY I would wed him!!!!!!

I’d have to agree with the consensus. Want: Gerard Butler I’d wed him, too. He’s hot, has a sexy accent, and looks great on a motorcycle. Wed: Liam Neeson If he’s anything like his characters, he’d do anything for the ones he loves. Waste: Norbert I’ve never heard of him, and his name makes me giggle.

Hmmmm…there do seem like some interesting characters above for sure and I’m not talking about Norbert Leo Butz (who laid that moniker on the poor lad? Probably some publicist who’d been out drinking late I’ll bet…his real last name is probably Smith or Jones), nor am I talking about Gerard or Liam (I’ve seen both in Films and they are good actors, Gerard seems more physical while Liam seems more reserved but with an inner strength). No, I’m talking about the wonderful ladies and their responses to the challenge: Nancy – Jackman does seem to be a combination of Gerard and Liam (perhaps more dangerous than either of them?). RoseAnn – Liam does seem to be the winner in the “I’d Wed him” category and I would agree from what I’ve seen of him he appears “stable” enough to be a good prospect, yet with a “smoldering” (if I may be permitted to use such a romantic word) beneath the surface. Linda – I didn’t know Gerard was a stalker but then I don’t read tabloids or watch the Hollywood news, but I think you are right about staying away Mr. Butz or anyone whose loyalties are suspect. While none of these fellows does it for me (and that’s a good thing considering) I appreciate Kae’s interest in “endurance.” Perhaps that is something which could be built up with “training” of a “significant other” LOL. Nancy – I wasn’t aware Gerard gave up being a lawyer for acting…that shows the man will take substantial chances in life (to put it mildly)! Alicia – I’m a BIG FAN of “Isle of Fangs”…having recently finished the second book. I agree that Gerard can play a “bad ass” and that Liam seems to be more husband material as he comes off in his films as more “grounded.” Poor little Norbert really takes a HIT in almost all comments (except for Kae’s who evidently sees something beneath the surface). I’ve enjoyed reading the comments of each and every one of you lovely ladies. Oh, yeah. Gerard and Liam. However, Hugh Jackman in Les Mis would have me abandoning all the others! *swoon*. I have to go with the mainstream. Want Gerard, wed Liam, and Waste Norbert. He’s too young, even if he could sing me to sleep. 😉

well i think i’m with diane b. on this–i’d like d.) hugh jackman, but actually for first two. he sings, acts, looks gorgeous and is loyal–of course the loyalty thing might make it difficult to wrest his affections from his wife. 😉 gerard butler can be handsome sometimes–which i guess might make him more sympathetic on my dumpy days and he does have a lovely accent. the other two? feh…

Want Norbert-love the character and he’s cute. Wed- Liam Neeson, not even a question here. I have a things for voices and Liam’s is uber sexy! Sorry, Gerard, you have to go! I’m not that into him in still photos, did like him in film with Kathryn Heigl, THE UGLY TRUTH.
